Watering Schedules for Newly Planted Shrubs
Water close to base of the shrub with open ended hose or pour slowly with a bucket.
-Small Shrubs –
Month 1 : Water two to three times per week for 1-3 min (roughly 1 gal bucket)
Following Months : Water once per week or as needed to supplement rain.
-Large Shrubs –
Month 1 : Water two to three times per week for 3-5 min (roughly 2.5 gal bucket)
Following Months : Water once per week or as needed to supplement rain.
-Trees –
Month 1 : Water two to three times per week for 10-15 min (roughly 5 gal bucket)
Following Months : Water once per week or as needed to supplement rain.
