For Newly Planted Perennials :
– Hot weather planting will require more watering sessions
Month 1: Water two to three times per week for 5-10 min with a shower type spray head, in bed sprinkler system, drip line or soaker hose. Make sure to water close to the base of the plantings for maximum benefit.
Following Months : Water plantings as needed to supplement rain, long periods of hot or windy weather will require additional watering.
